At Home with the Little Ones

I'm at home today with Sienna, Logan and Mason while Ryan took Kessiah and Jenessa to their basketball games.  Last week was very hard on me...so as much as I believe in supporting my kids it was best for me to stay home today!

I'm 27 weeks now and ready to put myself on self-imposed bedrest.  I seem to have this breathing problem during the last part of my pregnancies (it has gotton progressively worse with each one).  I just feel very out of breath when I stand up or walk anywhere....yes, it makes it very difficult to leave the house with my five kiddos!  Somehow we will make it through the remaining 13 weeks!

I NEED Chocolate!

This came out of my 10-year old's mouth!  It struck me as funny coming from someone so young!

Life is full of surprises!

I remember making a statement when I was pregnant with Logan ...I said something like "I will turn 40 at the same time this baby goes into Primary...it will be like starting a new phase of my life."  Well...I am now 40 and Logan went into Primary last Sunday...but...of course, we had Mason join our family (he will go into nursery the first Sunday in February) and we have another one on the way!  Who would have guessed 10 years ago that this is what my life would look like!

I was pretty nauseus most of this morning and I've spent most of the day on the couch.  I am now 24 weeks, but I can't seem to shake the nausea.  Ryan took Kessiah and Jenessa shopping and got me some things that I wanted and a few surprises...including some beautiful yellow roses with pink tips.  He also picked up some Chili's on the way home from Jenessa's basketball practice...Yummy...it tasted so good to me!

New Year's Resolutions

I'm usually one who loves to make New Year's Resolutions...I love to plan (not always so great on the execution...but I love to plan things out)  But this year is not the year for New Year's Resolutions for me...my one goal....SURVIVAL!

8:00 a.m. church

We get to go to church at 8:00 a.m. all year!  We have 4 wards that meet in our building so our meeting times are 8:00, 10:00, 12:00 and 2:00.  We've were at 2:00 last year...which had it's own set of pros and cons.  BUT seriously 8:00!  I mean I'm pregnant and have 5 kids to get ready and my husband has to be at church early for some meetings so he can't help me!

It did go o.k. this morning.  I had all the kid's clothes out on the couch the night before to save time.  Everyone did pretty good....except Logan who doesn't understand the concept of needing to hurry!  If I can just continue to get myself out of bed early on Sunday mornings...we should survive!
