We enjoy going to Idaho every summer to spend time with Ryan's family. It is the only time our kids get to see that side of the family.
We spent a wonderful day at Yellowstone. It was fun to go hiking and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and catch glimpses of wildlife. Some of us watched Old Faithful go off twice as we waited for the second group to catch up...and we were all hungry at lunch time!
We also spent some time at a park while one of my nieces had a softball game. The younger kids had a great time running around on the grass.

Utah/Idaho Summer 2015 Part 1
We enjoyed some time in Utah and Idaho...and ended up leaving Kessiah
for an extra two weeks. Nana and Papa were able to take her to an
outdoor adventure camp that is part of her school.
On our way up we stopped at the Glen Canyon Visitors Center to eat...some went on the bridge.

Kessiah, Jenessa, Sienna, and Ryan had fun at Big Rock Candy Mountain doing some ropes courses. During that time I had the boys in Richfield where we went to the park and went swimming.

We went to Yellowstone with Kerry & Patty's family. We enjoyed seeing "Old Faithful" and going on a couple of hikes. During one part of the hike we went down a fairly steep hill to a river. The little boys thought it was great fun to throw sand and rocks into the river.

We don't always take the time to drive by the Idaho Falls Temple. It was undergoing reconstruction so we couldn't get very close.

San Diego Vacation
We had a great time together in San Diego last week.
Monday: We went to Legoland...it is fun to see all the things they build out of Legos. The girls were excited to go on "The Claw" It was a ride they remembered from the last time we were there.

Tuesday: Seaworld and the Mormon Battalion Visitors Center. SeaWorld was fun...someday the 2 little guys will forgive us for sitting in the splash zone for the Shamu show.

We had heard about the Mormon Battalion Visitors Center the last time we were in San Diego but we didn't have time to go see it...I high recommend it. They had an interactive tour and a fun courtyard at the end.

Wednesday: Safari Park

Thursday: Whale Watching and Speed Circuit. We went on a whale watching tour. It made me just a little nervous! Mason was nervous as well and I went and sat with him in the inside cabin for most of the tour. Corbin came in as well and fell asleep. We didn't see any whales but there were a lot of dolphins...that was neat. I could even see them from the inside cabin...pretty neat to see them in the wild.

After the whale watching tour we ate at Ruby's Diner on the pier. It was a great view! Then we headed to a speed circuit place where we raced cars. Corbin was too short...he wasn't too happy about being left out. Mason rode with Mommy...he was too short to go by himself.

Friday: Knott's Berry Farm...you can tell I spent most of the day with my boys! That's who you get to see pictures of!

Saturday: Beach and Home. We headed back to Newport Beach where we did the whale watching tour and spent a couple of hours on the beach.
